Metro D.C. Shopping
A favorite city for us to
shop for Christmas presents is Washington D.C. The
Metropolitan Washington Area offers the most popular stores
.... from Nordstrom's to Macy's to Tiffany's.
Malls ring the city and
most are easily accessible from the Beltway. Our favorites
are the adjacent malls in McClean, Va.:the Tyson's
Galleria and Tyson's Corner Center: as well as the Fashion
Centre at Pentagon City in Arlington, Va.
Not far from the southern
part of the city is Potomac Mills, which offers super Outlet
shopping as well as Ikea.
Washington itself is great
for boutique shopping, especially in the Georgetown area,
near the Dupont Circle, and the newly revitalized Penn
Quarter.
Finally, what better place
to take the family on a Christmas shopping weekend than one
of the nation's historical and cultural centers.
Washington, D.C.
